Find two news articles with opposed opinions on vaccine mandates.

Using your two opposed opinion articles:

1) Complete a Venn diagram, looking for places where the two articles address different topics and places they can speak to one another. In the middle, put bullet points representing places the articles address the same topic or question. Also look for similarities and differences in the way the articles talk about the topic (the language used, the evidence and reasoning used, etc.).

2) Using ONE of those points in the middle of your diagram (or related points on the side) as a starting point, pull out a couple of quotes from the articles that can speak to one another. Then write a paragraph with a clear topic sentence that connects the ideas in these quotes. It’s not enough to just place the quotes there—we’re relying on you to give us the “connective tissue” that makes the connection clear.
