Grossmont College Girl Interrupted and The Yellow Wallpaper Annotated Bibliography

Instructions:

  • Write an annotated bibliography of all of your sources that you will use for this research project, including the two primary sources: Susanna Kaysen’s Girl, Interrupted and Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s “The Yellow Wallpaper.” Thus, if you have found the minimum two articles from the library/library database, that means you will have a total of five sources listed on your annotated bibliography: Kaysen, Gilman, Hornstein, and two additional articles.
  • This assignment will be typed and MLA formatted and uploaded as a WORD or PDF document. Refer to the previous page for instructions on how to construct the annotation and each source for this project, or click Annotated Bibliography.
  • Once you have proofread your annotated bibliography, you should have a smooth draft that is relatively free of formatting and grammatical errors.
  • Before submitting your draft, check the following so that you avoid these common mistakes students make on this assignment:

1- What’s the source’s argument (main points, purpose)?

2- What specific information will you use from this source to support your essay (graph, statistic, quote, expert testimony, etc.)? Provide the specific quote or description of the graph, or cite the statistic, or point out the testimony, etc. and describe HOW this will support your argument.

3- Does this source support your position or does it argue for another viewpoint, and if so, what is that viewpoint?

I upload the example of the of the assignment, but please do not copy the same information.
