1. I have always been aware of the importance of staying appropriate on social media accounts and not posting things that I wouldn’t be okay with employers or family members seeing. I have not googled myself prior to this, but I think it is a good idea to see what employers would see when looking into you as a candidate. When I searched my name, a few of my social media accounts (they are all private), and a few photos of myself came up. There was nothing that I should be concerned about which was what I was expecting. I like to keep my accounts private for safety and privacy purposes mostly. Are there other reasons that some people may keep their accounts private or reasons they prefer to keep them public?

3.Until this assignment, I hadn’t ever thought to search myself on google, but after searching I only found mentions of completely unrelated people with the same name. I have no social media accounts to speak of, so there’s nothing to be deleted. I’m aware of how social media can damage or bolster a person’s career and reputation, but I’ve chosen to not get involved with social media personally
