UCLA Forensic Interviewing in Child Sexual Abuse Cases Article Summary
Purpose: To explore the literature on interviewing in various disciplines as it is studied and presented by researchers in academic journals.
For this assignment:
a. Select a topic in interviewing that interests you. Find one peer-reviewed published paper that conducted research on that topic. The use and assessment of the tool of interviewing can be explored through many disciplines. Remember I am looking for papers that study the way interviews are used in disciplines. I don’t want a review of an article that simply used the interview in its research. We are studying the effectiveness of interviewing itself.
b. Establish thru a search of the UW Libraries that it was published in a peer-reviewed journal.
c. Write a short summary. No more than one page. Follow this guide published by the UW on reviewing research articles. summarizing an article.pdf
d. Post your summary and the reference by the due date.
e. Comment on another students article and their summary.
